A fundraising initiative that fulfills one of the important objectives of Soroptimist International, "Food waste and food that is not there." We set up a booth and sold flowers in April for two mornings at the Saturday market in Merano. The proceeds were donated to people living in needy conditions in our region. The program and objectives of the "Food Bank" initiative were presented to us in a report by Engineer Luca Merlino, our guest and Vice President.
