About Us

We are a women's NGO located in Northern Italy in the Alpine city and cultural center of Merano. Made up of 30 women, we are a powerful team who work tirelessly to promote women's rights locally and internationally.

Soroptimist International (SI)

SI is the largest service association of self-employed women worldwide, holding special adviser status and representatives for gender issues at the UN and the European Council in Strasbourg.

We are a member club of Soroptimist International, advancing SI's mission on a national and international level through dedicated projects. Located in the beautiful alpine town of Meran/Merano - a cultural hub and spa town - our club is the named after Meran's latin name, "Merania".
